Erica Berry is an essayist, journalist and teacher currently based in the Adirondacks. She grew up in Portland, Oregon, graduated from Bowdoin College, and previously spent nine months at the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School in rural Sicily, where she co-produced a documentary about endangered culinary traditions. In 2018, she graduated with an MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where she was a College of Liberal Arts fellow and creative-writing instructor. She is currently working on a book of essays about fear and anxiety, supported by a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
